As it is custom in our culture, we wanted to have a lion dance at our wedding so that we will have the blessing of a long and happy

marriage.

 

For this reason, we could not choose just any kung fu troupe to perform at such an important event. Recalling on the few lion dances I've seen in my life, I decided to review over 100 hours of video footage by many Kung Fu groups on the internet to discover who are the best. I came across Mr Yap Leong and the Shaolin Fists on YouTube, where I learned that they had performed lion dances at the Chinese new year celebrations in Chinatown, London. Something about their performance sparked an excitement in me.

 

That was when I decided who was going to perform and so I reached out to Yap Leong and booked them.

 

On the night, Shaolin Fists arrived with Mr Yap Leong at the wedding and performed the surprise Lion dance (we hadn't told anyone that we were going to have one).

 

Everyone was surprised when they saw the Lion and when the drums started playing, everyone was totally surprised and shocked at how good the lion dance was.

 

The dance was energetic, graceful and powerful. You could see on all the guests faces a big smile, and how amazed everyone was. The timing of the dance with The drums was perfect. The performance on the night was even better than the videos I saw on the internet and I quickly realised how lucky we were to have witnessed such An epic performance from the Shaolin Fists troupe.

 

Seeing just how much joy and warmth the lion dance gave all our friends and family at the restaurant - I would happily recommend the services of Mr Yap Leong and the Shaolin Fists.

 

They made the most important day of our lives even more special and unforgettable. Thank you so much.
